Ainsworth Inn

Had a situation where an elderly relative was travelling solo but their cell phone wasn't working. All we knew was he was staying at the Ainsworth Inn. We called and the owner went out of his way to track our relative down and let him know loved ones were trying to find him. He helped him re-start his iphone and get it working again. Big, big shout out to the Ainsworth Inn!

This is the nastiest motel I have ever experienced! The motel was old and smelly. We had 2 queen beds and could only use one as the other bed was dirty and had not been changed. We wouldn’t have stayed but the only other motel in town was booked and we were there for a funeral. There were no phones, no clocks, no coffee, no ironing boards, no continental breakfast as advertised, no ice or vending machines. Absolutely nothing besides a bed. When people heard where we were staying they couldn’t believe we would stay there. Even the sheriff told us we were brave. The only thing was the manager and her fiancé were super nice and apologetic. She actually gave me some of her private ice as we arrived late and I needed ice. This manager has nothing to work with. I sure hope she finds a better motel to manage. This place needs to be shut down. There is a Super 8 sign out front but they are not affiliated with this motel. Apparently in the past. Trying to contact this motel as we were arriving late was very stressful. The answering machine gave us an emergency # to call. After several attempts to reach them I called the emergency # and it was the previous owner and she had a nasty attitude. The #’s the different booking companies had were all wrong. My son after 2 hours on the phone and given wrong #’s he reached the motel. Management was very nice and accommodating with our late arrival.
